‘Why hiding in den when you calls yourself a lion?’ RJD vice-president to Tejashwi
TIWARI ASKS THE QUESTION AFTER LALU'S SON CONTINUES SKIPPING OFFICIAL FUNCTIONS
PATNA: RJD leaders are now slowly fretting at Tejashwi Yadav’s continued absence from official functions despite being in Patna.
Party’s national vice-president Shivanand Tiwari had a good piece of advice laced with challenge for Tejashwi who skipped RJD’s foundation day function held in the party office on Friday.
“You love to call yourself a lion. Then why are you hiding in a den?” asked Tiwari, taking a dig at Tejashwi’s absence from the party’s foundation day programme.
“Your childish acts are not going to pay you anymore. Please come to the front, get prepared to face the lathis but don’t drag your feet behind,” he advised.
Further he asked Tejashwi to learn from his father Lalu Prasad who loved to play with challenges.
“Lalu never got disturbed by defeats. You too should learn from your father and face the situation bravely. The people of Bihar want you become the chief minister,” he said.
The advice came after the Tejashwi gave the RJD function a miss although his elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav and his mother Rabri Devi attended the function.
Everyone kept waiting for Tejashwi to join the function for long bur as he gave this miss, the chair marked for him was offered to state president ram Chandra Purve.
Earlier, Tejashwi had gone mysteriously missing from Bihar for a month and even after he returned to Patna, he didn’t attend the House for four days.
