Another question: Which river is known as the “curse of Bihar”? His reply: Sindhu river (or Indus river). The real answer should have been “Kosi”.

Strangely, Indus river which is a major south-flowing river in the South Asia does not flow through Bihar.
Originating in the Tibetan plateau in the vicinity of Lake Mansarovar, the river runs a course through the Ladakh region of Jammu & Kashmir, towards Gilgit-Baltistan and then flows in a southerly direction along the entire length of Punjab, Pakistan to merge into the Arabian Sea near the port city of Karachi in Sindh. It is the longest river of Pakistan.
Well, this story of another topper Markandey Kumar Yadav who topped in the district level exam for computer operator in Kishanganj district held recently. The result was declared on Saturday.
He also failed to prove typing competency when asked to type words on the computer by the authorities.
He could type only eight words in a minute whereas in the typing test conducted during the time of appointment, he was declared as having typed 29 words per minute.
Kishanganj district magistrate Pankaj Dikshit has now ordered an inquiry into the whole matter.
