Wailing sisters tie ‘rakhis’ on dead brother’s wrist in Bihar

PATNA: Grief-stricken sisters tied ‘rakhi’ (safety band) on the wrist of their dead brother today a day after he was shot dead by armed criminals.

Senior BJP leader Ashok Jaiswal was killed on Wednesday evening in the Golapur locality of the state capital while was seating at a rice shop.

Police believe ‘love marriage’ in the family could be the reason behind his cold-blooded killing.

According to police, victim’s son Akash Jaisawal had entered into inter-caste marriage with the daughter of Rishideo Singh in the locality last month, leading to tension between the two families.
