PATNA: A village court in Bihar has asked a youth to pay a fine of Rs 20,000 after he was charged with kissing a girl twice.
The incident took place at Ibrahimpur village under Bakhari police station in Begusarai earlier this week.

According to a complaint lodged with the police, the victim was returning home from farmland when the youth identified as Mohammad Irshad took the girl in his clutches and kissed her twice.
Later, a court was held at the village over the village. After looking into the complaint of the victim, the court asked the accused to pay a fine of Rs 20,000 at the rate of Rs 10,000 per kiss.
The accused family happily agreed to pay the fine and settle the matter.
However, the girl has refused to accept the fine and is adamant on marrying the boy who “spoiled” her image in the society.
In this connection, a case has been registered with a local police station. The police are investigating the case.
