Togadia now wants the ban to be implemented in the whole country.
“I salute Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for enforcing total prohibition in Bihar,” Togadia was quoted as telling the PTI on Sunday.
He said the move would bring cheers in the lives of the common men as millions of money which were being spent on liquor would be saved and put to good use.
The state government imposed total ban on consumption, sale and manufacturing of liquor in April this year.
Around 14,000 people have been arrested and 161,820 litres of alcohol have been seized during the raids conducted by the police to enforce liquor ban.
