Indian opposition today created ruckus in the Parliament over alleged beating of two Muslim women by cow protection groups in BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh over beef rumour.
Opposition members gathered in the well of the House shouting they don’t want an “anti-Dalit” government.

Raising the issue in the Rajya Sabha, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Miss Mayawati condemned the attack on the Muslim women over beef row.
“BJP raises the slogan of ‘Mahilayon ke samman mein, BJP maidan mein’ yet in Madhya Pradesh women are thrashed on beef rumours,” she said.
She alleged the attacks by the Hindu nationalist groups are increasing across the country but the government has turned a blind eye to all such incidents.
She also accused the BJP of shielding absconding party leader Daya Shankar Singh.
“Daya Shankar Singh is in Jharkhand which is ruled by the BJP, clearly means he is being protected,” Mayawati was quoted as saying by ANI.
Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said, “The cow should be protected but Dalits and Muslims should not be targeted in the name of cow protection”.
BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi promises action against the culprits.
