Truth behind Nitish’ Susashan: Teenager shot dead for overtaking JD-U lawmaker son’s car in Bihar


PATNA: A 19-year-old boy was shot dead by the son of politician in Bihar late Saturday night after he tried to overtake his Range Rover car.

Police said the victim Aditya Sachdeva, son of a prominent businessman, was returning home on his Swift car with friends after celebrating his birthday in Bodh Gaya when he tried to overtake the car of a politician’s son identified as Rocky.

Reports said in a fit of rage, the accused stopped the victim’s car by overtaking him, assaulted him and then shoot him dead. The victim had recently appeared for Class 12 exam.

“During scuffle, my son took out his licensed pistol in defence, by mistake it happened (killing of youth),” accused father Bindi Yadav told the ANI.

Yadav whose wife Manorama Devi is a JD-U member of Bihar Legislative Council is alleged to be infamous for his notoriety.

Police have arrested Yadav for questioning but his son is still absconding. Reports said the accused was being escorted by security guard being provided to her lawmaker mother.
