Truck-ambulance collision leaves six dead, including the patient


PATNA: At least six people, including the patient, were killed when an ambulance carrying a patient collided head-on with a speeding truck in Bihar early Friday morning.

Police said the ambulance carrying the patient and his attendants was returning to Araria district from Bhagalpur medical college when a speeding truck coming from opposite direction collided with it in Purnia town.

While two persons died on the spot, four others succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
