PATNA: This is a good news for the persons suffering from heart ailments.

Once the people dial the number for help, doctors from the cardiology department will rush to the patients’ home with mobile coronary care unit and treat the patients then and there.
If they think the treatment of the patients is not possible at home, then the doctors will carry them on the ambulance and admit to the hospital for proper treatment. The patients, however, will have to pay for this facility.
Authorities said a separate toll free number for the cardiology department was being issued soon which will function round the clock.
Initially, the ambulance van facility will be available for Patna only. This will come into function from next month (May).
“Health department has consented to provide two ambulance vans to launch this facility. Most probably, the facility will be launched from next month,” head of the cardiology department Dr VP Singh told the media on Wednesday.
