PATNA: A teenaged class 10 schoolgirl was allegedly raped while she had gone to the school to attend her farewell function.
The victim who hails from Gaya district of Bihar will be appearing for the class 10 CBSE examination beginning next month.

According to the victim, she had gone to the house of her friend after the school function was over when the incident took place.
“While I was returning home, my friend’s brother asked to follow him, took me to a secluded place and raped me after serving beverage laced with intoxicant,” the victim told the police today.
Reports said after committing the crime, the accused threw the victim in the bush and fled.
Police said an auto driver came across the victim and informed her parents who admitted her to the local medical college.
The police have arrested the main accused who incidentally is a physically challenged youth.
“We have directed to make a strong case against the accused and submit the chargesheet soon,” the local Gaya district superintendent of police Garima Malik told the media today.
