The Bihar Post

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar joining the Iftar Party hosted by the Congress party in Patna on Tuesday. During the occasion, Kumar sat close to RJD chief Lalu Prasad and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and looked in a happy mood. On Wednesday, however, the chief minister surprised both his alliance partners by unilaterally announcing to support NDA’s presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind. JD-U claims the move will not impact the ruling Grand Alliance in Bihar. Kumar already has taken a different stand away from his alliance partners, and has backed surgical strike and demonetisation drive of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the past. What a coalition politics in Bihar!
