‘Sharad faction real JD-U, the other led by Nitish completely drowned in the BJP’


PATNA: Opposition leaders today used the platform of rebel JD-U MP Sharad Yadav to vent their anger against the India’s ruling coalition in general and its new ally JD-U leader Nitish Kumar in particular.

The opposition leaders launched their attacks at “Sajha Virasat Bachao” (save composite culture) conference organized by Yadav in Delhi today.

“The Narendra Modi government is imposing RSS ideology in every institution of the country,” Congress vice-president Rahul Gnadhi was quoted by Financial Express as saying at the function.

According to him, the RSS is trying to change the constitution. He also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Make in India” programme has failed.

Another senior Congress leader, Ghulam Nabi Azad said the faction led by Sharad Yadav is the “real JD-U” alleging the other group led by Nitish Kumar is “completely drowned in the BJP”.

“The real JD-U is led by Sharad Yadav and the faction led by Bihar chief minister is the BJP’s JD-U’s” The Economic Times quoted Azad as saying at the function.

“We cannot see the JD-U in Bihar any more as it is completely drowned in the BJP,” Azad said.
