According to a report in The Guardian, Samsung through a statement issued on Monday has asked the consumers with original Note 7 or its replacements to turn off and get a refund or exchange them for different phones.

“No one should have to be concerned their phone will endanger them, their family or their property,” Elliot Kaye, chairman of the safety commission, was quoted as saying in The Guardian today.

The BBC reported the company has also announced to stop all sales of the phone.

Last month, the company had recalled 2.5 million phones after complaints of exploding batteries.

As per reports, Samsung has blamed the batteries provided by a particular supplier for the new trouble.
