PATNA: The Congress leadership in Bihar is worried as it fears some of its legislators may go for cross voting in the presidential polls.
The party fears some six lawmakers out of total 27 may go for cross voting in the elections, and hence is trying hard to settle the problem.

The opposition led by Congress has fielded Meira Kumar against NDA’s Ram Nath Kovind in the presidential elections. Both the candidates have strong Bihar connections.
In a twist to the polls, the JD-U led by chief minister Nitish Kumar has supported the NDA candidate despite being in the ruling grand alliance.
All these legislators are said to be in touch with the JD-U, as per media reports.
