Patna, January 4: A group of 125 Sikh members associated with USA-based Sikh Dharma International arrived here today to pay obeisance at Takht Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib on the occasion of 350 birth anniversary of 10th Sikh Lord, Guru Gobind Singh.
The group is led by Bibi Inderjit Kaur Yogi and Kulbir Singh.
This organisation was set up by Late Harbhajan Singh Yogi who converted of thousands of people in North America and Europe to Sikhism.
The group had earlier landed at Amritsar to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple on New Year.
Bibi Inderjit Kaur said these Sikhs from USA and Canada who had converted to this religion were very enthusiastic about participating in the celebrations.
Most of them belong to the families who had adopted Sikhism on inspiration from Yogi. Some of them are third generation Sikhs. They are functioning as ambassadors of Sikhism.
Sikh Dharma International has branches in about 50 countries active in propagating Sikhism.
