PATNA: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) question paper leak scandal has now asked another IAS officer to appear before it by this (Thursday) evening failing which legal action will be taken against him, as per media reports.
Reports said a SIT team rushed to the BSSC office on Wednesday afternoon to serve notice on CK Anil, IAS officer working as officer on special duty there, but he was not present there.

It is reported the team waited for him for about an hour but as he didn’t reach, an office staff was asked to receive this notice. The police have no clues about his whereabouts right now.
As per reports, the SIT could arrest the IAS officer if he fails to defy the notice. The IAS officer is accused of helping the BSSC chairman while he absconded after his name figured in the scandal.
He is second the IAS officer to be grilled by the police in this scandal. Last month, the SIT had arrested BSSC chairman Sudhir Kumar in connection with the scandal.
Kumar who along with four other relatives was arrested from Hazaribag town in Jharkhand in currently is Phulwarisharif jail. Now the government has placed him under suspension.
The suspension of the officer came amid repeated demands by the IAS Officers Association to release Kumar and order a CBI probe into the test paper leak scandal.
The Association people have so far met the Governor, the chief minister and the Bihar Assembly Speaker in support of their demand but failed to grant him any reprieve till date.
