Informed sources the police are extensively searching for the absconding principal as his arrest looks imminent.
The principal went into hiding after the inspector general (CID-weaker section) Anil Kishore Yadav ordered his arrest finding him guilty in the case. The incident had taken place in November last year.
Initially, the local police appeared helping the accused PMCH principal in the matter.
Yadav who reviewed the case was surprised to see the cops promptly dealing with the complaint of the accused principal while dismissing the case lodged by the victim Alok Kumar, a third year post graduate student of anaesthesia department.
The scuffle had taken place between the principal and the junior doctors after the latter took his bike in the ‘no vehicle zone’.
The agitated principal then allegedly grabbed the doctor by his neck and slapped him even as his security guards also beat him.
The principal also allegedly passed casteist remarks at the junior doctor, forcing him to register a case with the police and the Human Rights Commission.
