Patna High Court makes submission of I-Cards mandatory before filing cases

PATNA: The Patna High Court has made submission of valid Identity Card mandatory before filing any case in the court.

As per the new directive, the complainant now will have to attach a photo copy of his/her valid I-Card and also put in his/her signature there before filing the case.

The court authorities said the new order will check misuse of the laws.

The initiate was taken following reports that quite many persons have been filing cases in the court in some other names.
