PATNA: In a rare departure from the continuing “war of words” between the ruling Grand Alliance (GA) leaders and the opposition NDA in Bihar, federal minister Ram Vilas Paswan has liked one of the tweets of his rival Lalu Prasad, prompting the latter to say big “Thank you” to Paswan.
“Thank you Paswanji for endorsing my stand that Bihar is out performing so called developed states ruled by BJP,” tweeted Prasad whose RJD is a coalition partner in the ruling GA government in Bihar.

The RJD chief had on Saturday tweeted how Bihar has registered 15.6 percent growth leaving far behind “so-called developed states” being ruled by “Mangal Raj-wale” in oblique reference to the BJP.
Paswan’s move to like Prasad’s tweet assumes much political significance given the fact that it looks like treating the BJP with disdain although Paswan’s party is a coalition partner in the NDA.
Strangely, Paswan and his entire party had, of late, been engaged in bitter criticisms of the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar over the issue of law and order.
