Tej Pratap is elder son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad

Tej Pratap who served as the health minister in the previous Grand Alliance government is the elder son of Prasad now in jail.

“The family and the party have decided to completely ignore Tej Pratap. This will automatically leave him marginalized. We are not bothered about his acts,” a party leader said.

According to him, the family didn’t even call him up when someone threatened Tej Pratap over phone.

Initially, his mother Rabri Devi tried to convince him but after he refused to listen to her advice, she too has left him to his fate.

Reports said Prasad too is very much upset and annoyed over the act of his elder son.

The family and the party have also refused to take any note his demand. Tej Pratap had demanded tickets for his loyalist for Jehanabad and Sheohar seats.

Of them, the RJD has already given ticket to the party leader Surendra Prasad Yadav while it is planning to field a Muslim/Brahmin candidate from Sheohar seat very much against Tej Pratap’s demand.

Currently, the entire party is solidly behind Tejashwi Yadav, Prasad’s younger son who has been launching the party poll campaign in his father’s absence.
