Officials refuse to entertain complaint as man reaches office in lungi

PATNA: A man in Bihar was sent back home unattended as he had reached the office in lungi, a kind of sarong.
The Incident took place in Narpatganj block of Araria district last week.

According to reports in the local media, a man identified as Ganesh Kumar Mahto had reached the local revenue office in informal dress in connection with a problem.

Seeing the man in lungi, the officials on duty lost their cool and sent him back home without looking into his case, reports added.
The officials announced to have a look into his complaint only after he comes to office in formal dress.
The man has now registered a complaint with a senior administrative official. The villagers have resented the rudeness of the officials.
