PATNA: Firebrand BJP leader and union minister Giriraj Singh today hit out at Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar over his “human chain” programme against alcohol ban in the state.
Singh who stayed away from the human chain programme described the chief minister as a “man without agenda”.

“The chief minister has no work right now. Hence, he forced the masses to come on the streets to join human chain,” Singh alleged.
“This is completely a despotic act which I oppose,” said Singh, alleging the CM had been constantly in search of agendas to be himself in the limelight.
He described the human chain as “political spider web”. Singh is currently in Siwan to attend party’s two-day working committee meeting which began today.
Strangely, the BJP lent its full support to the human chain programme of the state government and top party leaders of the party, such as Sushil Kumar Modi and Nityanand Rai, even participated in the event.
