PATNA: RJD chief Lalu Prasad today asked his ally, chief minister Nitish Kumar to change his decision soon saying he still had time to “correct” himself.
“Nitish Kumar has committed historic blunder by announcing his support to the NDA’s presidential candidate…he still has time to correct it,” Prasad told the media today.
He said it was Kumar who had initiated the unity move in the opposition but he suddenly lent his support to the NDA candidate.
“Pata nahi kaun si khichadi paki ki Nitish ne NDA ka samarthan kiya (Don’t know what cooked up between them that he supported the NDA in the presidential polls),” RJD chief said.
The JD-U however has refused to change its decision but said it was an “isolated” case.
“Supporting the NDA is just an isolated case. We have no commitment for the BJP in future,” JD-U spokesperson KC Tyagi told a newsmen channel today.
