PATNA: Former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi today again reiterated that his successor Nitish Kumar would very soon join the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
“Nitish Kumar’s move to support demonetization drive of the Narendra Modi and then pulling out from the UP elections to help the BJP make it amply clear that he will be joining the NDA very soon,” said Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Manjhi.
However, he announced his party would welcome Kumar’s entry into the NDA.
This is the second time in past three days that Manjhi has made such observations.
Earlier on Friday he had said the Bihar chief minister was constantly trying to join NDA. HAM is a part of the NDA and had fought the last assembly together in alliance with the BJP.
Manjhi’s observations assume significance in the light of the Bihar CM filling colours in the Lotus sketch of an artist at the Patna book fair on Saturday.
