‘THE MAIN FIGHT WILL BE BETWEEN RJD AND BJP IN 2019 LS POLLS’
PATNA: RJD chief Lalu Prasad today predicted chief minister Nitish Kumar and his party, the JD-U, would get completely finished in the next Lok Sabha polls and the main fight would be between the RJD and the BJP.
Prasad made these predictions while speaking as a chief guest at a function organized by the Congress party to mark the birth anniversary Bihar’s first chief minister Srikrishna Singh.
“Nitish Kumar and his party will be nowhere in the next LS Polls…Nitish Kumar has got himself politically eliminated by joining hands with the BJP,” he said.
He alleged the Narendra Modi government was victimizing the opposition leaders, including him, by implicating them in false cases but he was not going to be cowed down by such threats.
“Jo dar gaya so mar gaya,” he said, reminding the famous dialogue of Bollywood blockbuster “Sholey”.
He wondered over the way the central agencies have been silent over the “business deals” of BJP president Amit Shah’s son while the latter were issued summon after summons to his family.
“Lekin ham daranewale nahi hain,” he declared.
