Nitish kicks off ‘Jal, Jivan, Hariyali’ campaign to conserve environment


PATNA: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday launched the “Jal, Jivan, Hariyali” campaign, appealing to the masses to work for conserving environment.

Addressing a function organised in Patna, the chief minister announced to install solar plates on all government buildings.

He said the common men too would be encouraged to install solar plates on private buildings.

He said the government was working on a special work plan to tackle the situation arising out of the freak climatic conditions and environmental crisis.

“Happiness will come in our life only when we focus on greenery and save water,” the CM said.
