PATNA: RJD chief Lalu Prasad today looked shocked and shattered at the prevailing law and order situation in the state alleging a complete anarchy has gripped the state.
“There is neither law nor order in Bihar. It’s total anarchy that prevails across the state,” Prasad told the media before leaving for Ranchi to surrender before CBI court in fodder scam.
“Nitish Kumar’s condition is that of typical Nero who was playing flute while Rome was burning,” he said.
He also hit out at the Narendra Modi government over arrest of five intellectuals in the country and alleged the country is moving towards dictatorship.
“The prevailing situation doesn’t augur well. Now, anyone could be arrested anytime. Emergency lagoo kanare ka rasta saaf ho gaya hai,” he said.
He alleged he and his family have been implicated in false cases to keep them away from electoral process and hoped he would get justice from the court one day.
Last week, the Jharkhand High Court rejected his plea for another extension of provisional bail on health grounds and instead asked him to surrender by August 30.
