Jaipur: Shooting of Padmavati was hit when protesters stormed the set of the movie and allegedly attacked filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali here.
The protesters alleged that the film showed the Rajput queen in poor-light.

The attackers reportedly belonged to the Rajput Karni Sena.

“We had warned the filmmaker against presenting wrong facts. When we came to know about the shooting, we gathered there and protested,” Narayan Singh, a member of the group, told the media today.
Padmavati is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language period drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, jointly produced by Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
The film features Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in leading roles.
