“We give a 48-hours deadline to all Pakistani artists working in India to leave the country or we will push them out,” an MNS leader Amey Khopkar was quoted as saying in local media today.
“If they ignore our warning and continue shooting in Mumbai, we will storm the venue and throw them back in our own style,” Khopkar added.
The threats come amid the heightened tension between India and Pakistan post terrorist attack at an army base at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, leaving as many as 18 Indian soldiers dead.
Earlier, the Shiv Sena had dug out cricket pitch at Delhi’s Ferozeshah Kotla stadium, the venue of the first Test, in January 1999 to protest Pakistan cricket team’s tour to India.
