In a surprising development, security forces in Kashmir have recovered Chinese flags along with incriminating documents during extensive raids conducted on possible hideouts of militants and also arrested 44 persons for alleged involvement in terror activities.
According to media report, some 700 houses were extensively searched during the massive during a massive search operation which lasted for over 12 hours.

The search operation, the major drive of the security forces after 100-day strike, was conducted in 10 sensitive pockets of Baramula on October 17, reports said.
During the raids, the security forces recovered Chinese and Pakistani flags, unauthorized mobile sets, petrol bombs and anti-national publicity materials.
“A large quantity of incriminating material such as petrol bombs, Chinese and Pakistani flags, Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) letter head pads, unauthorized mobile phones and seditious anti-national publicity material were seized,” an army spokesperson was quoted as saying by the PTI.
