PATNA: Is Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar planning to dump the BJP and join hands with the RJD again?
RJD’s national vice-president Raghuvansh Prasad Singh caused consternation in the political circles on Saturday with his revelation that both the parties are trying to come together again.
“Political surprises could be visible in Bihar too quite like Maharashtra,” Singh told the media on Saturday.
According to him, internal talks for reunion were already on between the two parties and that the RJD has no reservation either over the matter.
“It won’t be a surprise if the two parties join hands together,” Singh asserted.
Tejashwi Yadav, senior RJD senior and younger son of party president Lalu Prasad, however, has rejected any such speculations.
“There is no question of the RJD joining hands with the JD-U once again. It’s not feasible anymore,” Tejashwi told a news conference in Patna today.
However, those familiar with today’s politics say anything can happen in politics.
Tejashwi who served as the deputy chief minister in the previous Grand Alliance government himself had revealed earlier this week that how his party had got offer from the BJP to form government in Bihar although it rejected the offer.
