Little girl breaks piggy bank to donate Rs11,000 to Patna flood victims
At this time when 15 districts of Bihar are reeling under floods, common men and various charity organizations have come forward to help the flood victims.
However, the story of a nine-year-old girl from Samastipur district is entirely different from others.
Siddhi Shreya broke her piggy bank, collected Rs11,000 in hands and rushed to Patna to donate it for the people in crisis.
In the company of her parents, she reached the residence of former Member of Parliament Pappu Yadav and handed over the amount to him to be distributed among the hapless residents.
As such, Pappu Yadav has been far ahead in the race of others in matter of launching relief works for the residents trapped in their flooded homes for the past one week. He is donating food, water bottles, milk, medicines and cash to the needy residents.
“This daughter is small but her heart very large,” tweeted Pappu Yadav.
https://t.co/BfLERjtfpV
