Kushwaha, Manjhi won’t ride ‘sinking boat’ of RJD: Sushil Modi

PATNA: Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi today described RJD as a “sinking ship” and claimed his allies wouldn’t ride it.

“RJD is a sinking ship. Why would Mr Upendra Kushwaha and Mr Jitan Ram Manjhi ride it?” asked Modi.

“Instead, several RJD leaders are in touch with us to join NDA”, claimed Modi, a senior BJP leader.

Modi made these remarks shortly after RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav extended an open invitation to RLSP chief Kushwaha and HAM chief Manjhi to join the RJD camp.

Bihar opposition leader Tejashwi was the deputy chief minister in the previous Grand Alliance government which Nitish Kumar dumped in July last year to return to the NDA camp and formed his new government with its support.
