PATNA: The ruling Janata Dal United (JD-U) headed by chief minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar today clarified its door is tightly shut for Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) leader Jitan Ram Manjhi.
“There is no place for Jitan Ram Manjhi in the JD-U. How can anyone trust him after he ditched Nitish Kumar?” asked JD-U’s chief spokesperson Sanjay Singh.

“There were so many competent people in the JD-U yet Nitish Kumar handed over his throne to Manjhi, reposing faith in him. Still, he stabbed his mentor in the back”, he added.
The JD-U reaction comes in the light of speculations that the HAM chief could return to JD-U.
The speculations started after former chief minister Manjhi said, “If arch-rivals like Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar can come together, why can’t I?” and then added “Politics is a game of possibilities”.
