Gaya road rage: JD-U politician’s son Rocky Yadav found guilty of killing teenager


PATNA: A district court in Bihar today convicted a politician’s son for killing a teenager in a road rage case which took place last year.

The Gaya district court held Rocky Yadav, son of suspended JD-U legislator Manorama Devi, guilty of shooting dead Aditya Sachadeva, son of a local businessman, as per media reports.

The court also held Rocky’s father Bindi Yadav, cousin Tenny Yadav and a constable Rajesh Kumar guilty of killing the 19-year-old boy.

The quantum of punishment will be announced on September 6.

According to police reports, Aditya Sachdeva, son of a prominent businessman, was returning home on his Swift car with friends after celebrating his birthday in Bodh Gaya when he tried to overtake the car of a politician’s son identified as Rocky Yadav.

In a fit of rage, the accused stopped the victim’s car by overtaking him, assaulted him and then shoot him dead, reports said. The victim had recently appeared for Class 12 exam.
