PATNA: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the class 12 Bihar Board toppers scandal has come out with a sensational revelation.
As per the revelation, the sacmsters were charging Rs 500,000 per fake intermediate certificate.
“The payment of money meant a candidate can get the certificate at home without taking the exam or even enrolling with any college,” one of the accused person detained in the case told his interrogators today.
Based on the information, the police are now conducting raids at a place in Auranagabad.
The police in the meanwhile today arrested Anil Singh, private secretary of absconding former Bihar School Examination Board chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad. He was arrested from Hilsa in Nalanda district.
The other key accused in the case Baccha Rai also been arrested by the police but the other key accused Lalkeshwar is still out of police reach.
