Express train goes up in flames at Darbhanga rly station, panic grips passengers
PATNA: Panic gripped railway passengers in Bihar after a bogey of a passenger train went up in flames today.
The incident took place at Darbhnga railway station in Bihar on Saturday.
Witnesses and officials said the Darbhanga-Ahmedabad Express train was stranded at the nearby yard when it suddenly caught fire and went up in flames.
TV grabs showed balls of smokes gushing out of the train windows and the raging flames gripping a whole bogey. The situation turned critical since there was no way for the fire tender to reach the spot.
Earlier on Wednesday evening, a coach of the Bihar Sampark Kranti express had caught fire, reducing it to ashes, literally.
