Eight Bihar Universities get new Vice-Chancellors


PATNA: Governor-cum-Chancellor of Universities of Bihar today appointed vice-chancellors of eight universities functioning across the state.

According to a Press release issued by the Raj Bhawan, Prof Sudhir Kumar Srivastava has been made the VC of Patna University while Prof Ravindra Kumar Verma ‘Ravi’ has been appointed the VC of Baba Saheb Bhim Ram Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarapur.


Similarly, Prof Kusum Kumari has been appointed the VC of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Prof Raj Kishore Jha the VC of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, Prof Kshemendra Kumar Singh the VC of Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, Pro Vidyadhar Jha the VC of Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, Prof Ramesh Chandra Singh the VC of Maulana Majharool Haque Arabi and Farsi University and Pro Shivakant Jha the VC of Nalanda Open University, Patna.

All the appointments are temporary arrangements, says the Press release.
