Drunk Bihar man throws out daughter from roof, strangulates when she survives

The incident took place in Saran district


PATNA: A drunk man threw out his two-year-old daughter from the roof and then strangulated her to death in Bihar– a state which has imposed total liquor ban.

The horrible incident took place at Raipura village under Bheldi police station in northern Bihar’s saran district on Monday.

Police said the accused Mahesh Pandit came to his residence in an inebriated state on Sunday and began assaulting his wife without any reason.

Seeing him beating her mother, his two-year-old daughter began crying after which the drunk man caught the girl by her neck and threw her down from the first floor, media reports said.

The cruel man didn’t stop at that. Fining the baby still alive, he then strangulated her to death. The police have arrested the accused.

Barely a day back, the son of a BJP Member of Parliament (MP) Hari Manjhi had badly assaulted his wife, mother, sister, and children under the influence of liquor in Gaya district. He too has been arrested.

Manjhi is BJP MP from Gaya but not contesting elections this time.
