Kolkata: CRPF personnel were deployed in and around the BJP headquarters in Kolkata after an attack by Trinamool Congress supporters following arrest of party MP Sudip Bandopadhyay by the CBI.
Angry TMC activists raided the BJP headquarter at Central Avenue area in north Kolkata on Tuesday evening shortly after West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee called his party MP’s arrest as a “vendetta politics” of BJP-ruled Central government, media reports said.
