Police believe he may have taken shelter in Delhi. The local media quoting reliable sources have reported that the Lalkeshwar left Patna right on the day he tendered his resignation as BSEB chairman on June 8.

As per reports, he left Patna by train without any reserved ticket and got down at Moghulsarai station to complete the rest journey for Delhi by road.

His wife Sinha, a former JD-U lawmaker and principal of a government women college, too has been absconding.

It is alleged her college chamber was the centre of scamsters who would sit there and plan strategies.
