“I will become an IAS office after hard study and will get posted in this town one day,” the arrested student reportedly told a cop after his shabby treatment.
Reports said the remark irked a cop so much so that he began assaulting the student with a bamboo stick.
The cop stopped beating the student after he was rebuffed by the head of the police station concerned.
Around 1,500 students have been expelled during the ongoing Class 12 examination being conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board in Bihar in the past seven days.
More than 1.2 million examinees are taking examinations which began on Tuesday last at 1274 centres.
The state administration has made elaborate security arrangements to stop use of unfair means in the examinations this time.
