PATNA: Speculations are rife over a possible reshuffle in the Narendra Modi cabinet following reports that the government has sought information from the Rashtrapati Bhawan about President’s availability in Delhi in between June 19 and June 23.
The possible reshuffle assumes much significance given the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh early next year.

Grapevine is that firebrand BJP parliamentarian Giriraj Singh may be removed from the Modi cabinet for his controversial remarks.
Singh who represents Nawada seat in parliament is currently Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
Reports doing the rounds in the media further suggest two other ministers in the Modi cabinet too could be dropped for different reasons. They include Nihalchand and Najma Heptulla.
In their place, five leaders from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam, Uttarakhand and Maharshtra could get berth in the Modi cabinet, reports said.
