PATNA: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today arrested the Central Homeopathic Council president Dr Ramji Singh while taking a bribe of Rs 20 lakh (Rs two million) in cash, according to media reports.
Singh, a prominent homeopathic doctor having his clinic in Kadamkuan locality of Patna district was arrested from Delhi.

Authorities said the accused was taking bribe in exchange for granting affiliation to a homeopathic college when he was caught red-handed.
Singh was associated with the governing body of the council for the past over three decades. Prior to becoming its president, he had served it as a vice-president as well.
