Prasad’s made these allegations after Kumar suddenly broke 20-month-old alliance with the Grand Alliance and formed government with the BJP against whom the latter had won the elections.

This was not the first time that Kumar was accused of ditching his ally. Earlier in June 2013, he had broke alliance with the BJP to form government with the opposition parties while he had won the elections with support from the BJP.
