Bihar’s dubious grade 12 topper Ruby Rai who said political science is all about ‘cooking’ skips re-test
PATNA: Bihar’s class 12 topper in Arts Ruby Rai who brought much embarrassment to the government by stating that the political science is all about cooking in a TV interview did not appear for re-test today citing health reasons.
“She is feeling depressed and is just not in a mental condition to appear for re-examination,” an official from Vishundeo Rai College Nand Kishore Yadav told the media today.
The rest 13 topers in Arts and Science streams, however, appeared at the re-test in Patna as directed by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) after their merit came under question.
Ruby who scored 444 marks out of total 500 earned embarrassment for the government when she said in a TV interview that the political science is all about cooking.
She also did not name her subject correctly and spelt it out as “prodikal science”, instead of political science
Another topper from science stream Saurabh Shretha too showed lack of basic knowledge during the interview as a visibly embarrassed BSEB authorities asked all the 14 toppers ion both streams to appear for re-test today in Patna.
BSEB authorities have announced to cancel certificates of the topper failing to clear the test.
