PATNA: The arrest of the two senior officials of the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) in the test paper leak scandal has now taken caste colour with former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi questioning their jailing.
Both the arrested senior officials, such as BSSC chairman Sudhir Kumar and secretary Parmeshwar Ram, incidentally come from dalit community, as per report.

“Dalit officials are being victimized in Bihar and we will not tolerate any more,” Manjhi told the media on Sunday.
Manjhi blamed a senior IAS official considered close to chief minister Nitish Kumar behind the arrest of BSSC chairman adding the Supreme Court ruling was violated in the arrest of both officials. He sought a CBI probe into the entire matter to bring out the truth.
Sudhir Kumar was the home secretary of Bihar when the Manjhi held the post of chief minister for a brief period.
RJD president Lalu Prasad has also come out in support of Kumar alleging the latter has become a victim of conspiracy.
“Sudhir Kumar is an honest and upright officer. He has been implicated under a conspiracy,” Prasad has been quoted as saying in a local media today.
