Bihar Srijan scam: ‘Won’t sit idle until case is registered against Nitish, Modi’: Tejashwi

PATNA: RJD president Lalu Prasad accompanied by his son Tejashwi Yadav today left for Bhagalpur where he is scheduled to hold a massive rally against Srijan scam on Sunday. Both left for the “silk city” as Bhagalpur is also known, by train.

Last month, the local Bhagalpur district administration had indirectly barred Tejashwi, Leader of Opposition in Bihar assembly, by enforcing section 144 of the CrPC in Sabour block but that has not deterred them a bit.

“We will expose the scamsters from the land of Srijan. That’s why we have planned a rally in Bhagalpur,” Tejashwi told the media on Saturday.

Tejashwi also charged the CBI with shielding the main culprits of the scam and acting against “small fries”, also alleging the evidences related to the scam were being slowly destroyed.

Tejashwi dared the CBI to register cases against the due under sections 120 B and 420 of the IPC to prove its credibility.

“We will not sit idle until the case is registered Nitish Kumar and Sushil Kumar Modi,” he declared.
