PATNA: The ruling Janata Dal United (JD-U) today dismissed Usha Sinha from the party for her misconduct.
Sinha, a former JD-U lawmaker and principal of Ganga Devi Women College, is wife of absconding former Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad.

She along with her husband is accused of helping the education mafias manipulate the topper’s list in exchange for money. Both are absconding right now as the police are out to nab them.
“We have dismissed her from the party and also asked the party leaders to ensure her membership is not renewed at any cost,” state JD-U president Vashishtha Narayan Singh told the media today.
The action followed after Singh met with chief minister Nitish Kumar in the day and discussed her alleged complicity in the toppers’ scandal bringing much embarrassment to the party.
