Born and brought up in Patna, Priya always wanted to add her bit in the progress of her state and she finally succeeded in her effort.
Through this app, she aims to help Hindi and Bhojpuri speakers learn conversational English by just installing a free app on their phone.
“The idea is to make them more confident when they step out into the professional world, exploring new avenues. Since it is an offline language app, it can be easily used to learn English on-the-go, without an internet connection,” Priya told thebiharpost.com today.
The need to learn conversational English, she explained, continues to be highlighted as this universal language offers tremendous benefits to job seekers.
She said change is possible only when youth in the state is educated, skilled and confident and this requires a collaborative effort.
She was happy to know that the Bihar state also aims to offer skill development training to 1 Crore (10 million) young people in the state by 2020.
